These terms describe the rules for using Dua during beta and the responsibilities that come with shared planning.

Last updated: May 17, 2026

1. Acceptance

By using Dua, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or web services.

2. What Dua is

Dua is an AI date-planning utility for established couples. It is currently in beta, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime or error-free suggestions.

3. Account and couple structure

You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information, and avoid impersonating another person or partner.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Dua for harassment, harmful content, coercion, or impersonation. Plans should respect your partner's consent, safety, and boundaries.

5. AI-generated content

Dua uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate suggestions. Suggestions are not endorsements. Verify venue details, safety, prices, hours, and availability independently.

6. Third-party services

Dua relies on services such as Anthropic, Google Places, Supabase, Apple Push Notification Service, PostHog, and Sentry. Their services may have separate terms and privacy practices.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, create safety risks, or abuse the service.

8. Disclaimers

Dua is provided as-is during beta. We make no warranty that every recommendation will be suitable, available, safe, or accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is capped at the amount you paid us for Dua in the preceding 12 months, which is currently $0.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms. For material changes, we will notify users in-app and by email where available.
