Privacy Policy

Dua is built for established couples, which means the product handles personal planning context. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

  • Email address and Apple ID information used for sign-in.
  • Display name, date-planning preferences, and in-app settings.
  • Plans you create, proposal status, plan metadata, feedback, and memory signals.
  • Partner relationships, including the couple structure needed for shared planning.
  • Location data only when you tap “Use my location”.
  • Push notification tokens for reminders and proposal updates.
  • Analytics through PostHog and error diagnostics through Sentry.

How we use it

  • To generate plan suggestions through Anthropic's Claude API.
  • To deliver push notifications and proposal reminders.
  • To improve product reliability, quality, and relevance.
  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not use your data for advertising.

Third parties we share with

  • Anthropic for Claude plan generation.
  • Google Places for venue lookups; coordinates are sent without your identity.
  • Supabase for database hosting.
  • Apple Push Notification Service for notifications.
  • PostHog for product analytics.
  • Sentry for error tracking.

Data retention

  • Account data is retained while your account is active.
  • Deleted account data is purged within 30 days.
  • When one partner deletes their account, the other partner's view may degrade to a read-only archive.

  • Access your data by emailing shin.park@accomy.com.
  • Delete your data in the app Settings screen or by email request.
  • Correct your data in the app or by email request.
  • Export your data by email request.
