Delete Your Dua Account

You can delete your Dua: AI Date Planner for Couples account at any time. This page explains how to delete your account and what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

1. Open the Dua app on your device
2. Sign in if you are not already signed in
3. Tap Settings in the bottom navigation
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
5. Confirm in the dialog that appears

Account deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Cannot access the app?

Email shin.park@oneparkdigital.com from the email address associated with your Dua account, with the subject Account Deletion Request. We process requests within 7 days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (name, email, avatar, preferences)
• Your personal date plans and history
• Your memory entries (likes, dislikes, planning patterns)
• Your push notification tokens
• Your authentication credentials

Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, not by Dua. To stop billing, cancel from your device subscription settings. Deleting your Dua account does not refund or cancel an active subscription.

What may be retained

• If you share a couple with a partner who keeps their account, shared plans and memories you both contributed to remain accessible to your partner, with your name de-attributed.
• Anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked back to you.
• Financial records required by law (up to 7 years per tax regulations).

Retention period

Personal data is deleted within 30 days of your request. Backups containing your data are purged within 90 days. Anonymized analytics may be retained indefinitely.
